Create Group chat in Pidgin
Create Permanent Group chat in Pidgin

1. Activate Pidgin buddy list window.
2. click Buddies menu 
3. Enter Room: teamgroupchat
4. Click Join button

Server name is shown by default for your network.
Type password if you want your group chat to be password protected.
